MAMITA was founded by Prof. Maud Kamatenesi Mugisha and Dr. Balaam Mugisha in 2016.

Staffing
MAMITA has 30 Qualified & committed staff who handle the Instruction process professionally and have enabled the Institute grow academically from strength to strength, currently, several old students are working in different organisations across the country and have been our good ambassadors.

Staff welfare

1. We provide accommodation for most lecturers and support staff.
2. Staff is provided with break tea, lunch & supper for those who wish to.
3. Resident staff members receive free water & electricity.
4. The Institute gives motivational allowances to staff according to status & responsibility.
5. Staff is paid monthly salaries/wages that vary according to qualification and status.
   Co-curricular activities; We believe that a healthy mind lies in a healthy body and we encourage participation in both indoor & outdoor games, football, volley, netball and physical exercises
   Clubs; We have active clubs like scripture union, Dance & drama, tourism club and business club.
   Finance; Our source of income is mainly from parent’s contribution, organisations that support some students like NjunaAmagara, Hocacy Uganda, Compassion Assisted Projects, Esther Kafeete Foundation, Well Wishers from Norway led by Eng Per and Dr. Torrun Stangeland.
