Students Admissions
We enroll P.7 leavers for Junior Certificate, S.4 leavers for Advanced Certificate and S.6 leavers for Diploma courses. Find a list of our courses in the Graduation Booklet We are multi-cultural, multi-racial and multi-denominational and all students are God fearing, we have a strong chapel fellowship that instills morals amongst students for Muslims there is a mosque in the neighborhood as well as a catholic church nearby for Catholics.
Students’ leadership.
Students choose their leaders annually through a democratic process; we have a prefectorial body led by the Guild President. Your Excellency, The Guild President and your Cabinet, we reorganize you.
Students’ Discipline
Generally, the discipline of our Institute is good and its concerted effort of the students, their leaders, staff, parents and Board. We shall continue to remind them that good academic grades go in hand with good discipline. The few isolated cases of indiscipline are usually handled by the students’ leader and the staff disciplinary committee.
Academics
The Institute offers a wide range of skill oriented courses in both certificate and diploma levels.
Awards
Students are examined by:
- Directorate of industrial training (DIT) for both Formal and Non-formal.
- Uganda Business &Technical Examination Board (UBTEB) under Ministry of Education Science Technology and Sports.
- National Council for Higher Education (NCHE)
Health & Hygiene
Special attention is given to students’ health and hygiene we have a health and sanitation committee led by Dr. Balaam Mugisha (fulltime at the Institute) and health ministers under the office of the Dean of Students.
Meals; We offer a balanced diet with main meals.
Students’ Accommodation; Students are accommodated in dormitories of varying sizes and each is under the stewardship of a House Captain and a Prefect.
